The map is from a website called City-Data.com. It's a very simple map that contains a few cities. On it you can see a couple of freeways and the interstate 15. The yellow on the map represents a high altitude. What I find interesting about the map is that the I-15 clearly passes by the city of Hesperia and yet many people don't know where Hesperia is when I mention it. Many people from California take the I-15 to get to Las Vegas, so they drive by the city. What I don't like about the map is that if someone got out of the interstate and into the roads of the city, then the map wouldn't be of much use to them.

The map is from wordpress.com, which looks like it can be a blog. The map is of an island called Puerto Rico, which is in the Caribbean. On the bottom right hand corner of the map are two other small islands that are close to the main island. It's visually pleasing, but it only gives a small amount of information. Most of the cites of the island are shown and the compass at the bottom left hand corner could be a bit useful. I dislike that roads of how to get from city to city are not illustrated, so it would be difficult to navigate around the island with just this map to go by. I find interesting the pictures that are around and within the map. I guess those are all pictures of things that represent the island.

The map is from experiencela.com. The map is of the downtown Los Angeles area. Some of the streets are very colorful because they are bus routes. The circles in the bus routes are bus stops. I like how this map is very useful if one is new to downtown Los Angeles. The streets are clearly shown and major places such as East L.A. are in big red bold letters. Since the map is mostly for bus routes, the freeways are kind of faded into the background.
